John has been instrumental in creating solid foundations to extend the impact of the imec.istart accelerator program into the Netherlands, in building up an amazing team with a warm heart to support founders, and in setting up a strong support program for promising tech startups. We wish John the best in his new endeavors, starting after October 15th.
As of October 1st, the imec.istart.nl team strengthens its leadership team with Martijn Sijbers, who will take over John’s responsibilities. We firmly believe Martijn can help us grow further in supporting ambitious Dutch tech startups and spin-offs. Please join us in giving Martijn a warm welcome!

Martijn begins his tenure just as we open our autumn call for applications to our #1 tech accelerator program in Europe. Tech entrepreneurs have the golden opportunity to secure 12-18 months of tailored coaching as they embark on the crucial journey of growing their startups, all while having access to a minimum of 100k in funding. We’re thrilled to have him onboard as we continue to foster innovation and support the next generation of tech leaders.
